Referring to Sir Matthew Nathan's

Despatch No. 21 of the 4th. February, 1907, I have the

honour to state that this Government proposes to take over

the functions of the Hongkong Branch of the Colonial

Nursing Association from the 1st. July next.

One of the two Nurses now employ-

-ed is willing to continue to serve from that date under

the new conditions, and I have accordingly to request that

steps may be taken to engage one Nursing Sister in accord-

-ance with the form of particulars enclosed. A Memorandum

and rules in duplicate for the information of candidates

are annexed.
